John Boyega has had it with trolls and angry “Reylo” fans, and he has responded with an epic viral video. You can check it out below.
Boyega has been known to speak his mind on social media, and while he generally gets along and interacts well with his fans, he isn’t afraid to speak out if someone is out of line.
The actor has taken some heat from some fans recently after he criticized Rian Johnson’s choices in The Last Jedi. He also didn’t like the “Reylo” movement, made up of fans who wanted Rey to fall in love with mass murderer and Sith apprentice Kylo Ren.
That earned Boyega a wave of hate from angry tweets from Reylos. Unpersuaded, Boyega took the tweets and created a video of himself destroying the posts – literally – with a lightsaber and various punches and kicks.
Here’s the video. Note that the tweets featured in the video contain language not safe for work or kids.
While most found his video hilarious, some,as you might expect, took offense. We won’t post the responses here because of the hateful language and profanity, but a simple search on Twitter and Instagram will reveal them.
