According to Screen Rant, the actor who played Darth Vader in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” recently canceled a convention appearance due to “filming the newest film in the ‘Star Wars’ Universe.” The new man behind the Dark Lord of the Sith, Spencer Wilding, was set to appear at Fandomfest in Louisville, KY. Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean he’s playing Darth Vader for sure in the Han Solo movie.
He could be playing another role in any of the “Star Wars” movies in pre-production or production or re-shoots right now. Warwick Davis has been known to play multiple characters in different “Star Wars” movies over the years. They might just be utilizing Wilding’s stature for another charatcer. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
