Fans of “Star Wars” in the UK have even more incentive to join the military now that Special Air Services soldiers will soon get to wear what are being called the “Boba Fett helmet.” As you can see above, it really does look similar to everyone’s favorite bounty hunter’s helmet. The hi-tech headgear uses heat-seeking technology to hunt down enemies in the war against terror. Another big benefit you get wearing the “Boba Fett helmet” in the field is that it’s bulletproof AND air-conditioned!
“For years the defence industry has been trying to find a way of protecting the head and this is the next development,” a military source told The Daily Mirror.
