Actor Billy Dee Williams was recently honored by The American Black Film Festival, who presented him with their Legacy Award for his decades of work on the screen. And an old buddy even paid tribute to him.
Harrison Ford recorded a video tribute to Williams that played at the American Black Film Festival Honors, in which the man who played Han Solo praised the talent and professionalism of the man who played Lando Calrissian.
The comments were much appreciated by Williams, who later tweeted “Being presented with the @ABFFHonors Legacy Award from icon #SuzanneDePasse who paved the way for black entertainers and empowered women in the industry was a true honor. And the tribute by my dear friend #HarrisonFord was a heartfelt highlight.”
