The Porgs Are Back for ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ – Here’s Proof!

Tell Chewie to fire up the grill – the Porgs are returning for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker!

The international poster for the upcoming film was released recently, and it included something not seen before – Porgs!

The poster (shown below) features most of the main characters, and one feathery easter egg of sorts.

Here’s the poster.

Now, look at the bottom left, at the feet of Dominic Monaghan’s character. It’s a bit blurry, but it’s obviously a Porg.

There are several reasons why the Porgs will return in the film. It’s possible that the Porgs that stowed away in the Millennium Falcon in The Last Jedi multiplied and are still hanging out in the ship. However, a recently-released still from The Rise of Skywalker appears to show Rey back on the island of Ahch-To, so it’s possible she picks one up there.
