Another Dallas Comic Con has come and gone. As usual, “Star Wars” was more than well represented at the event by several booths. The 501st Garrison was there raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. They were taking pictures with fans to pull in as many donations as they could for the organization. You could get your pictures taken with an assortment of different characters including Tarrful, Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, and any number of Mandalorians. There was even a Han Solo in carbonite you could stick your head through for a photo op. I forgot to take a picture of that. Here are a few shots I did take of some interesting things I ran across.
Jabba’s Sail Barge was actually hand-made by an individual. The R2 units were part of a droid making group I failed to get the name of. My journalism skills were a little off-kilter this weekend apparently.
