Back before VHS video tapes and laserdiscs took hold, the only way to watch some films in-home on-demand was by Super 8 film. Back in the 1970s, shorter versions of Star Wars were released for home viewing by a company called Ken Films. Some were in back and white, others in color, and some had sound, while others did not (some Super 8 projectors did not have sound capability). Here’s a look at one of those versions, a 20-minute color version of the film, with sound, that only covers the first 2/3 of Star Wars.
