Star Wars Represented at Dallas Fan Days

Dallas Fan Days starts tomorrow at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, TX. As usual, Star Wars has a heavy presence at the event. Several comic book artists and organizations will be in attendance to represent both the Light Side and the Dark Side of the Force. Check out a list of what’s happening and who’s going to be there after the jump!

Splinter of the Mind’s Eye artist Chris Sprouse will be appearing to sign autographs. Mike Perkins is attending and more than eager to sign copies of his Star Wars #1 variant cover that pays homage to Giant Sized X-Men #1. Other guests ready to meet fans include Lucasfilm Product Artist Scott Harben, TOPPS Card Artist Lawrence Reynolds, and Comic Book Artist Sam de la Rosa.

Star Wars Costume Groups attending Dallas Fan Days include the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, and Mandalorian Mercs. The Astromechs and Galactic Academy will also be there to show off their droids and other props. All the groups come together to present Skywalking: The Star Wars Universe Panel and Interactive Display. You can look at props and replicas of weapons as well as costumes. Help the groups raise money for their charity by shooting a Stormtrooper!

A full-scale Landspeeder will be parked on the Exhibit floor the entire weekend. You’ll be allowed to take pictures with the vehicle. Just don’t hop in it and take it to Tosche Station to pick up some power converters!
