Shane Rimmer, whose 60-year career as a character and voice actor included three James Bond films, a lead turn in the 1960s puppet series Thunderbirds, and an uncredited bit role in the original Star Wars as a Rebel Crew Leader aiding Luke Skywalker with R2-D2, died early today at his home in England. He was 89. No cause of death was announced.
