The iconic costumes from the Star Wars saga are coming to Cincinnati, the home of Kenner toys! We’ve got details of the exhibit after the jump!

“Star Wars and the Power of Costume” will open May 25 at the Museum Center, exactly 40 years after the release date of “A New Hope.”
The traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian will feature numerous costumes from the film franchise.
Featured costumes include the menacing black mask of Darth Vader, the gilded suit of C-3PO and the golden bikini worn by Princess Leia when she was enslaved by Jabba the Hutt.
The exhibit, which includes 60 handcrafted costumes from the first six “Star Wars” films, uncovers the challenges, the intricate processes and the artistry of George Lucas, the concept artists and costume designers.
Other featured costumes included in the exhibit:
*The monk-like robes of Jedi masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker
*The suit and complex breathing apparatus of Darth Vader
*The military-influenced uniforms of the imperial stormtroopers, senate guards and TIE fighter pilots
*The Yak hair and mohair costume of Wookiee Chewbacca
*The intergalactic outfits of Senators Bail Organa, Mon Mothma and Mas Amedda
*The armor of mercenary bounty hunters Jango Fett, Boba Fett and Zam Wesell
*The elaborately detailed gowns of Queen Amidala, Queen Jamillia and their handmaidens
Short films will provide behind-the-scenes looks at the creative process and will include interviews with artists, designers and actors.
