Rosario Dawson wants to join the Star Wars universe, taking on a character that has yet to see a live-action incarnation: Ahsoka Tano!
The star of films including Sin City and the Marvel Netflix series “Daredevil” and “Luke Cage” answered a fan’s speculation that she should play a live-action Ahsoka Tano with this tweet:
Just because Dawson is willing, doesn’t mean an Ahsoka movie is imminent. Lucasfilm has made no mention of even the hint that an Ahsoka movie could happen.
Even so, if an Ahsoka movie were to happen, we think there’s only one person who should play her. I’m a fan of Rosario Dawson, but let’s face it: Ashley Eckstein IS Ahsoka Tano. Give her the dual lightsabers.
