As Lucasfilm was gearing up promotion for Episode I in 1999, Jason Geyer was part of a team that came up with ideas for new Star Wars merchandise. Hundreds of products were proposed, but only a few dozen went into a final pitch to Uncle George. Still fewer were actually made. Geyer has since documented many of the proposed items in a series of columns for Action Figure Insider.
