Not a joke: Jabba Jam was an actual thing

Sometime in the 1990s, pop culture gift shop Archie McPhee got a hold of thousands of Kenner Jabba the Hutt torsos. Not the whole body, just the torso. When they didn’t sell, the retailer decided to get inventive and make “Jabba Jam,” throwing the Jabba torso in a jar with plastic fruit pieces as some sort of a gag gift. They claim it was the worst-selling product in the store’s history, and even they have no idea what happened to all the Jabba pieces. All that is left is some pictures, a catalog clipping, and faded memories. Click here for the story straight from Archie McPhee.
