This very cool R2D2 party invitation was produced in 1977 by The Drawing Board, a greeting card company based in Dallas that produced some awesome items. I own a few of the pieces they made, including an incredible Empire Strikes Back 3D party centerpiece. This card, like others we have featured before, was created by artist Max Lungwitz. As I live in Dallas, I really hope to track down Lungwitz and ask him about his work, but I have yet to find him. Max, where are you?!?
