Two new “Star Wars” comics got the Marvel classic cover variant treatment. Mace Windu #1 is an homage to April 1968’s Strange Tales #167 featuring Nick Fury on the cover. This pairing makes sense, seeing that Samuel L. Jackson played both Windu and Fury in the Mrvel and “Star Wars” Universes. Captain Phasma #1 is a tribute to issue #69 of Invincible Iron Man from August 1974. You can check out the covers after the jump.
