IDW’s Star Wars Adventures #1 is scheduled for release on Sept. 6, written by Cavan Scott, a veteran of multiple Doctor Who stories for Titan Comics, and illustrated by Eisner-nominated IDW mainstay Derek Charm, who illustrated the main promotional art released when the series was announced. Issue #2 is from the same team, and expected two weeks later, on Sept. 20.
Both issues are set to tell tales of Rey’s early days on Jakku, including a story in issue #2 co-starring Unkar Plutt, who famously offered Rey merely ‘one-quarter portion’ in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
