This weekend’s Toy Fair has brought a number of major announces from Hasbro, including the reveal of reissued vintage figures as part of a new “Retro” Series.
Hasbro announced that the line would not only include characters originally issued between 1978 and 1985, but characters that were never released would also be part of the line. That includes a Grand Moff Tarkin figure, which will be included in the reissue of the classic Kenner “Escape from the Death Star” game.
The figures are not exact replicas of the original versions, although they look very close. Instead, they are newly-crafted figures in the original style.

Target briefly posted the figures on their website, but they sold out within minutes.
