In lieu of the standard Mother’s Day greeting, I decided to share this, a little diddy I saved back in 2013. At the time, Sideshow Collectibles sent out an email newsletter promoting a Mother’s Day giveaway that still makes me laugh. Here’s the full story, with image.
Sideshow always offers some fantastic giveaways, but back in 2013, someone got the brilliant idea of pairing a Mother’s Day giveaway with a Dark Lord of the Sith. Which makes total sense.
The giveaway worked like this: Sideshow Collectibles would send flowers to the winner’s mother. The winner would get a Darth Maul statue. The best part, however, was the graphic Sideshow Collectibles used in the email. Observe:
