First Images Released of Dominic Monaghan, Kelly Marie Tran, and Boolio from The Rise of Skywalker

We finally have our first look at some new and returning characters for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, including Dominic Monaghan!

YakFace.com tweeted out pictures of standees that will be sold in stores, featuring nearly two dozen characters from the film. In addition to the usual suspects like Rey and Kylo Ren, Dominic Monaghan and Kelly Marie Tran also get a standee,, which gives us our first look at their characters. 

Monaghan’s character still doesn’t have a name, and we don’t know his role in the film’s plot. Based on his outfit, however, it appears he is a member of the Resistance.

We also have our first look at Rose Tico, who has been noticeably absent from the marketing of the film so far. Very little is known about her role in The Rise of Skywalker, except that she has been promoted to the rank of commander. 

We also have our first look at Boolio, an alien who appears to have a significant role in the film. In the leadup to Triple Force Friday, we learned that Boolio is included as a “pack-in” character with the new LEGO Rise of Skywalker Millennium Falcon. He’s included with main characters Finn, Lando, Chewie, C-3PO, and R2-D2, which indicates he’s somehow connected to them all.
