I find it hard to believe that the presence of one Star Wars actor would get a fan to pay for an entire event. However, I deem it necessary to let everyone know Wilford Brimley will be greeting and signing autographs at Texas Frightmare Weekend this coming Friday, May 5th through Sunday, May 7th in Dallas, TX. Many will remember him as Noa Briqualon from the TV-movie Ewoks: The Battle for Endor.
I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Revenge of the 5th Day than by spending it meeting one of the actors who starred in a cult classic of this magnitude which takes place in a Galaxy Far, Far Away. Noa Briqualon was a Human male trader and mid-level scout who, after crashing his star cruiser on Endor, spent decades living as a hermit on the surface of the forested moon. In Ewoks: The Battle for Endor, Hermit Noa (Wilford Brimley), Ewok Wicket (Warwick Davis) and furry Teek rescue a girl (Aubree Miller) and an Ewok family from a witch’s dungeon.
Texas Frightmare Weekend starts Friday, May 5th and goes through Sunday, May 7th. It takes place at the Hyatt Regency at the DFW Airport. You can go to the event’s official website for tickets, schedule, a list of guests, and other information.
