When he was living in Hertfordshire in 1983, Andy Herd noticed in the local paper that a film production at Elstree Studios required the services of dwarves. Little did he know he’d go on to feature in George Lucas’ fantasy epic, playing both one of the Ewoks in Return of the Jedi as well as Jabba’s Jawa servant.
