Back in the day, kids collecting the original Star Wars action figures never got one key member of the Empire to display in their Death Star playset: Grand Moff Tarkin.
Now, over 40 years later, Hasbro is righting that wrong, thanks to a new series of vintage-styled Star Wars action figures.
As we previously reported, Hasbro is releasing a line of vintage-styled figures called the “Retro Collection,” which will include characters released from 1978 to 1985, as well as characters who were never made at the time.
Among the first figures to be announced was Grand Moff Tarkin, looking just as he would had he been released by Kenner.
The figure will be packed in a vintage-style cardback and included with the Target-exclusive reissue of the “Escape from the Death Star” board game. It will be available this May.
Here are pictures of the figure and board game posted online by Hasbro and on Twitter by Jedi News UK.
