We all remember Young Rey from The Force Awakens, but if her tearful little face suddenly rings a bell to you now, there’s a reason.
Cailey Fleming, who portrayed Young Rey in the film, was a fresh face at the time, but her career quickly took off after it. She began doing commercials, TV shows, and movies, including AMC’s “Preacher,” FX’s “Better Things,” and the Jennifer Garner action film Peppermint.
Last year, however, she managed to top even her Star Wars appearance, when she was cast as an older Judith Grimes in the hit show “The Walking Dead.” Her scene-stealing performance as Rick Grimes’ headstrong daughter has quickly made her a fan-favorite on the show.
Fleming, who just turned 12 this week, is already one of the show’s central characters in a season that has seen the departure of leads Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan. Meanwhile, Samantha Morton and Ryan Hurst have joined the cast as the new baddie duo of Alpha and Beta.
Cailey can be seen on Sunday nights, when “The Walking Dead” airs on AMC.
