The Freemakers return in the second season, and they’re better than ever. Join them as they become part of the Rebel Alliance to help destroy the Empire once and for all in Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures: Complete Season Two. Rowan Freemaker (the youngest sibling) has a dream about a ship with an Embersteel Blade and a giant Kyber Crystal. This leads The Freemakers to an Imperial ship auction, which Gardulla the Hutt ends up being at. They also visit a moon of Takodana that has an atmosphere of acid rain, which Hondo the Space Pirate brings them to. Our heroes end up on a small planet made with tiny fragments of kyber.
Many villains are in this season who are after Rowan in Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures: Complete Season Two. Darth Vader wants him for the Emperor. MO-C, a droid designed to find Rowan for the Emperor, is after him as well. The Emperor, as in the last season, wants his precious Kyber Saber back. Only Rowan can get it for him.
The show was incredibly well made. There was just the right amount of battles and funny moments to keep you smiling and thrilled. Darth Vader tracking down Rowan Freemaker to gain Palpatine’s attention and acceptance is pretty hilarious. This is funny because in the original trilogy, Vader didn’t really care what the Emperor thought of his evilness. Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures: Complete Season Two is very enjoyable for children and families who want a good time filled with laughter and excitement.
Extra features found on Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures: Complete Season Two include five bonus adventures. I think it would’ve been interesting to see some behind-the-scenes footage of the actors voicing their characters. There are some great cameos from veteran Clone Wars and Rebels voice actors like Vanessa Marshall (Hera), Billy Dee Williams (Lando), Corey Burton (Quarrie), Julie Dolan (Leia), Jim Cummings (Hondo), Matthew Wood, and Dee Bradley Baker.
Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures: Complete Season Two was directed by Claus Darholt, Frederik Budolph, Jeppe Sandholt, Per Düring Risager, and others. It stars the voice talents of Vanessa Lengies, Nicolas Cantu, Eugene Byrd, and Grey DeLisle. The two-disc set includes all twelve episodes.
Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures: Complete Season Two is available now on DVD and Digital HD.
Rating: 4 / 5 stars.
