It took a while, but the trailer for Star Wars: The Mandalorian season 3 is finally here, and it was well worth the wait.
The trailer was shown at this weekend’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, the official Disney fan convention, and is the same one that played at Star Wars Celebration earlier this year. It is only now being released publicly.
After the events of The Book of Boba Fett, Din (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu are together again, and it appears there is conflict brewing with Bo-Katan (Katee Sackhoff). She wants the Darksaber, so she can stake her claim as the ruler of Mandalore, and she has a personal grudge with Din and his clan of Mandalorians.
We also see Carl Weathers returning as Greef Karga, as well as Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto. We also see either Babu Frick from The Rise of Skywalker, or one of his kind. We don’t know how long his species lives, so anything’s possible.
The trailer also mentions a 2023 premiere, but no specific date.
Here is The Mandalorian Season 3 trailer.
